Services and Solutions | AR Polarizer Enhancement

LCD Displays used in notebook computers have two (2) sheets of a glass material bonded together with two (2) outer layers of a special plastic material called a Polarizer. Most notebook Manufacturers in an effort to reduce cost use a dull or matted surface Polarizer that does not help reduce glare or increase the sharpness of the image. Higher-end notebooks have a higher quality Polarizer that is shiny in appearance and substantially reduces glare and increases the sharpness of the colors on the display.
Most people, however, do not realize that this same high quality surface treatment can be retrofitted on any TFT LCD used in any notebook computer.
AGParts is equipped with a Clean Room and the automated delaminating and laminating equipment needed to retrofit any LCD with this newer AR Polarizer.
The Retrofit options are:
AR FILM AR Plus Wide Viewing Angle Film
Wide Viewing Angle Film will increase in either X-axis or Y-axis the viewing angle from the standard 90 degrees to 135 degree.
Normal Polarizer Structure
Normal Polarizers are structured by three layers; polarizing membrane (PVA) and support layers (TAC) on both sides. On this bare polarizer, additional treatments are applied such as adhesive coating, reflector or transflector and other surface treatments.
